A delegation of the Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) met with Director General Karachi Development Authority Zainul Abidin Ansari at the Civic Center. The delegation included Chairman ABAD Hanif Gohar, Senior Vice Chairman Engineer Danish and Vice Chairman Syed Khurshid Alam. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the development of the city, promotion of the construction sector, residential projects and other matters of mutual interest. On this occasion, DG KDA Zainul Abidin Ansari said that the Karachi Development Authority is taking effective steps under various development schemes for the development and advancement of the city and provision of better facilities to the citizens. He said that providing quality and better housing facilities to the people is one of the main priorities of the institution, under the same objective, efforts are also being made to introduce new housing projects through the Public Housing Scheme. He further said that cooperation and joint efforts with all relevant sectors are indispensable for the sustainable development of the city and providing better quality of life to the people. The Karachi Development Authority will continue to play its role in the welfare and improvement of residential facilities of the citizens. On the occasion of the meeting, DG KDA Zainul Abideen Ansari presented the Abad delegation with a Sindhi cap and Ajrak as a symbol of Sindh's culture and traditional hospitality, while a commemorative souvenir of the Karachi Development Authority was also presented.
