	The staff of the Estate and Enforcement Department of Karachi Development Department conducted an operation against illegal constructions in Commercial Plot No. SA 1 ST 1/1 Sector 48-B Korangi under the supervision of Director Estate and Enforcement KDA Muhammad Meraj. During the operation, resistance was also encountered from miscreants, however, the operation continued uninterrupted. Director General Karachi Development Department Asif Jan Siddiqui reiterated his resolve on this occasion and said that operations against the occupiers and encroachment mafia will continue with full force. He clarified that under no circumstances will illegal occupation or construction be allowed on KDA lands. DG KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui said that demolition operations will continue continuously to completely clear the entire city including Korangi from encroachments. He further said that through comprehensive planning and strong cooperation of law enforcement agencies, the ongoing operations in Korangi and other areas will be brought to a logical conclusion. According to the Department of Estate and Enforcement, a few mischievous elements cannot dampen the morale of the organization. The Karachi Development Authority has been successfully conducting anti-encroachment operations across the city for the past several years. Encroachments on sports fields and recreational parks in different areas have been completely eliminated and restored for the public, while thousands of acres of land have been reclaimed and a permanent surveillance system has also been implemented. The Karachi Development Authority says that with the cooperation of citizens and the help of state institutions, the mission of keeping the city free of encroachments will continue.
