Director General Karachi Development Authority Naveed Anwar instructed the concerned officers for (cleaning of civic center building, activation of fire fighting system, renovation of Fountain).

Director General Karachi Development Authority Naveed Anwar has issued instructions to the concerned officers and said that following the orders of caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Maqbool Baqir, renovation and cleaning of the Civic Center Building will be carried out. Arrangements should be made on a permanent basis. Along with this, the departmental officers should ensure emergency measures for the renovation and cleaning of the offices. He directed the Executive Engineer, Building Civil, to remove unnecessary equipment from the Civic Center building and to take measures for daily cleaning of all washrooms, entrances and exits and green areas of the building. . Arrangements of lights should be made in the washrooms of the said building and in the corridor of the building and especially the washrooms should be renovated, executive engineer, two sub-engineers and related staff should be appointed on all floors of the building who will clean on a daily basis. The member will submit a report to the technical/chief engineer regarding cleanliness. The process of installing solar system in the civic center building is being started, the installation of solar system will significantly reduce the cost of electricity in addition to civic center. The fountain installed in the building should be repaired and made usable so as to increase the beauty of the building. DG KDA Naveed Anwar issued instructions to Chief Engineer Tariq Rafi and said that arrangements should be made immediately for curbstones and colors on the footpaths on the sides of the said building. The inactive fire fighting system in the said building should be repaired and activated and the staff should be given necessary training to use the fire fighting system. DG KDA Naveed Anwar directed the Secretary KDA to oblige the private banks and offices established in the Civic Center to take measures for cleanliness and cleanliness inside the building and to allocate a specific parking area for them. He instructed the Director of Parks to organize an exhibition of daisies at Civic Center Sabzazar this month, with the aim of providing a pleasant environment to the citizens, as well as the beauty of the trees in the building. Steps should be taken for further increase and the process of planting more beautiful plants should be started.
