A special meeting of the Governing Body of Karachi Development Authority was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Local Government Minister and Chairman Governing Body Saeed Ghani for Budget 2024-25 and Revised Budget 2023-24.

The governing body of Karachi Development Authority (KDA) has approved the budget estimate of KDA for the financial year 2024-25 and the revised estimate for the financial year 2023-24. In the financial year 2024-25, the revenue is estimated at 13 billion, 80.59 million rupees while the expenditure is estimated at 12.9 billion 12 million rupees. According to the details, a special meeting of the governing body of Karachi Development Authority was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Local Government Minister and Chairman Governing Body Saeed Ghani for the budget 2024-25 and the revised budget 2023-24. In the meeting, Director General Karachi Development Authority Syed Shujaat Hussain briefed Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani about the details regarding KDA financial year budget. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Khalid Haider Shah, Members Governing Body Member Sindh Assembly Yusuf Baloch, Ali Ahmad Jan, Additional Commissioner Ghazanfar Shah, DG KDA Shujaat Hussain, KDA Member Finance Kashif Khan, Member Administration Shakeel Siddiqui. , Member Technical Tariq Rafi, Director Finance and Accounts Kashif Siddiqui and others were present. In the meeting, amendments were approved in the rules and regulations for conducting the meeting of the governing body of KDA, according to which the proceedings of each meeting will be included in the record. In the meeting, the budget estimate for the financial year 2024-25 and the revised estimate for the financial year 2023-24 were also approved. In the meeting, it was decided that GIS mapping, FIMIS and digital archiving of KDA will be done and in this the Sindh Govt. Will fully support them. The budget estimate for the current financial year 2024-25 was approved in the meeting, according to which KDA's income is estimated at Rs. . The meeting also approved the revised budget estimate for the financial year 2023-24. According to which, instead of the estimated income of KDA of 12 billion, 59 crore, 57 lakh, the revised income will be 6 billion, 63 crore, 17 lakh rupees. While the revised expenditure will be 6 billion, 57 crore, 24 lakh instead of 11 billion, 798 million. In the meeting, all the concerned bodies of KDA have been instructed to submit the revised revenue and expenditure verified estimates to the governing body of KDA.
