A delegation of Abad Association Builders and Developers met with Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui at the KDA headquarters in the Civic Center. The Association Builders and Developers delegation was led by Senior Vice Chairman Abad Syed Afzal Hameed. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on mutual issues and common issues. On this occasion, DG KDA said that the process of computerization is underway in Karachi Development Authority to completely secure the records with the archive system, while indiscriminate actions are being taken to eliminate encroachments on KDA lands and the process of securing the vacated lands on a permanent basis is also underway. Senior Vice Chairman Abad Syed Afzal Hameed pointed out illegal encroachments in Surjani Town Sector 10 and 13, Gulistan Johar Blocks 6, 10 and 11, and various sectors of Korangi. To eliminate the above-mentioned encroachments, DG KDA issued instructions to the officers of Karachi Development Authority to conduct a survey and submit a report on the spot. Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui has reiterated his resolve that full force will be taken against the occupiers, under no circumstances will the encroachment mafia be allowed to establish encroachments on KDA lands, demolition operations will continue to clear government lands of encroachments. Operations will be considered with comprehensive planning and full cooperation of law enforcement agencies. During the meeting, Abad Vice Chairman Muhammad Tariq Aziz, members including Member Administration KDA Shakeel Siddiqui and others were present.
