In light of the high court orders, the Estate and Enforcement Department of the Karachi Development Authority is taking vigorous action against illegal encroachments in the city. In this regard, the Estate and Enforcement Department, led by Executive Engineer Nasir Siddiqui, conducted an operation with heavy machinery against illegal factories and encroachments established on 15 acres of land in Sector 6B in North Karachi Township, where the encroachments were completely demolished. All these operations were carried out under the supervision of Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui and Deputy Commissioner Central Taha Saleem. The district administration and police were fully involved during the operation. On the other hand, under the leadership of Additional Director Estate and Enforcement Muhammad Arif, effective action was taken against illegal encroachments in North Karachi Sector 6B Industrial Area, during which encroachments on government land were removed using heavy machinery. Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui said that illegal encroachments established across the city are obstacles to the urban management and rehabilitation of Karachi. He said that the Karachi Development Authority will continue to take indiscriminate action against illegal encroachments to restore the city to its original state. DG KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui further said that all possible steps will be taken to remove all obstacles faced in this regard and the protection of government land will be ensured at all costs. He directed the concerned officers to fully implement the court orders and continue to take action against encroachments in the future as well.
