DG KDA Syed Muhammad Ali Shah met a Japanese delegation (JAICA) led by Toshihiro Goto. Matters of mutual interests were discussed during the meeting. Toshihiro Goto was accompanied by Tsuyoshi Matsushita and Mohammad Qasim Saeed. DG KDA Syed Muhammad Ali Shah apprised JAICA of the flood related damages all across the country and how KDA, Pakistan Army, Govt of Pakistan and Pakistans civil society are playing their part in flood relief. Toshihiro Goto lauded the efforts of KDA and ensured that voice will be raised at all global platforms for flood victims. Officials concerned also briefed the Japanese delegation of developmental work in different areas of Karachi and areas damaged by flood and rain water. Subsequently, on the instructions of DG KDA Syed Muhammad Ali Shah, the Japanese delegation was taken on a visit to affected areas of Karachi by Superintending Engineer Abdul Muttalib Mannan. Present on the occasion were Member Finance KDA Syed Shujaat Hussain, Project Director Naeem Waheed, Director Recovery Naveed Anwar, Superintending Engineer Tariq Rafi, Spokesperson KDA Syed Saboor Ali and other officials concerned.
