On the directives of DG KDA Syed Muhammad Ali Shah, Member Finance KDA Syed Shujaat Hussain conducted a meeting on the developmental work carried out in Karachi through ADP. During the meeting, he instructed the Chief Engineer Nadeem Iqbal to implement the vision of Sindh Government to include sewerage system, reparation of dilapidated roads and construction of roads as priorities in the above mentioned schemes. He also said that cleaning of drains should be ensured. In order to eliminate obstacles in the developmental works, the officers concerned should establish strong links with the contractors so that the citizens can be brought out of the difficulties faced by them. An explanation should be sought on the lack of interest of the contractors, otherwise disciplinary action should be taken against the contractors. It should be ensured that the ongoing development works are completed before the scheduled time. All possible resources should be used to provide basic facilities to the citizens.
