The State & Enforcement Department started its Anti-Encroachment operation against encroachments across the city
On the special orders of Director General Karachi Development Authority Naveed Anwar, the Anti-Encroachment Department has started an indiscriminate operation against encroachments across the city. Following the clear instructions of the High Court, under the leadership of Director State and Enforcement Arshad Abbas, a major action was taken against encroachment in Landhi Town. During the operation, machinery and manpower were fully used, several shops, offices and illegal constructions established at Landhi Babar Market ST-4/11, ST-4/12 were demolished and handed over to KDA land. It should be noted that the transferred land was allocated for public bathroom, but the occupants had built many shops, offices and illegal constructions by making illegal constructions. Orders were issued to the concerned officers to conduct operations against the occupation mafia. The operation was completed under the supervision of Additional Director State Enforcement Jameel Ahmed Baloch while law enforcement agencies were also present during the operation. According to the KDA spokesperson, DG KDA Naveed Anwar says that the process of emergency demolition by identifying the illegal constructions on the government lands is continuing without any interference during the action against the encroachments. will not be done. KDA lands shall not be allowed to be used for illegal activities under any circumstances. The staff of State and Enforcement is taking practical steps to take the land into government custody by handing over the land without considering the pressure. During the operation, Additional Director State Enforcement along with Rahmat Shah, Shahzad, Mukhtiar Kar Landhi and other officers were present.
