A meeting of Departmental Promotion Committee One of Karachi Development Authority (KDA) was held under the chairmanship of Minister of Local Government, Housing Town Planning and Public Health Engineering Housing Town Planning and Rural Development Sindh Saeed Ghani. DG KDA Syed Shujaat Hussain, Member Technical and Chief Engineer Tariq Rafi, Member Finance and Real Inder and others were present in the meeting. In the meeting, approval was given to promote Deputy Director Finance BPS 18 Kashif Siddiqui to Director Finance and Accounts KDA in Grade 19, while Moinuddin Athar Kazmi Deputy Secretary of Grade 18 to Secretary KDA in Grade 19. On this occasion, Provincial Minister Sindh Saeed Ghani issued instructions to DG KDA that the promotion working papers of both of them should be included in the minutes and sent. He said that promotion of employees is their right and our effort should be that all such employees who are promoted according to the law should be sent to the next level. On this occasion, DG KDA Syed Shujaat Hussain said that the employees of any organization are like the backbone. He said that the protection of the rights of the employees is the responsibility of the head of the organization and I am doing my best to take all measures to ensure that the employees of the organization get their legitimate rights. Later, provincial minister Saeed Ghani distributed the recruitment letters to the families of 14 employees of the death quota. On this occasion, DG KDA Syed Shujaat Hussain, Chief Engineer KDA Tariq Rafi, Patron General of KDA Labor Union Muhammad Ashraf and others were also present with him.
