DG KDA Syed Shujaat Hussain recently visited the head office of ABAD.
Director General Development Authority Karachi Syed Shujaat Hussain visited the main office of Abad Association Builders and Developers Pakistan. While addressing the officials and members of Abad on the occasion of his visit to Abad Association, he said that despite the limited resources of the Karachi Development Authority, the work on various schemes of KDA public housing for the residents of Karachi is going on rapidly. An industrial zone is being established in Sarjani Town Karachi for the industrialists. Chairman Abad Asif Sim Sim requested Karachi Development Authority to computerize the records, appoint a focal person between KDA and Abad along with KD. Chairman Abad further said that a time frame should be given for the transaction of land related files. Taking action on the suggestions of Chairman Abad, DG KDA appointed Senior Director Land Wariel Andhar as focal person. issued instructions to further strengthen the ties between KDA and Abad as well as ensure concrete steps to eliminate mutual problems. DG KDA said that the process of computerization is going on to make the records completely safe in Karachi Development Agency, while indiscriminate action is going on to eliminate the encroachments on the KDA lands and transfer the lands on a permanent basis. The process of making safe is also going on. Senior Vice Chairman Abad Ibrahim S. Habib said that illegal commercial activities are going on in residential buildings in Clifton Block 8 and 9. In order to put an end to the above mentioned activities, DG KDA issued instructions to the officers of Karachi Development Authority to conduct a survey and submit a report on the spot. In the end, Chairman and Vice-Chairman Abad praised DG KDA Syed Shujaat Hussain's significant initiatives for the institution and assured of continued full cooperation and support from Abad. On this occasion, the officials and members of Abad along with senior director of development agency Land Vereil Andhar, secretary Behzad Amir Memon, director land Asif Raza Chandio, director IT Kamal Siddiqui, director public housing Arshad Khan, director recovery Jameel Ahmed, director state and enforcement. Arshad Abbas and other officers were present.
