Director General Karachi Development Authority Muhammad Kashif Khan formally launched the tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling in the green area of KDA Civic Center. A large number of KDA officers and employees were present on the occasion. Addressing the ceremony, Director General KDA Muhammad Kashif Khan said that the increase in environmental pollution is becoming a serious problem, to deal with which tree plantation is the need of the hour. He said that trees not only help in keeping the air clean but are also a means of providing a healthy and pleasant environment to the citizens. DG KDA Muhammad Kashif Khan urged the officers and employees to plant more and more trees and consider their care as their collective responsibility. On the occasion, the participants appreciated the tree plantation campaign and expressed their determination that such activities should be promoted for the protection of the environment and a better future for the coming generations. Member Administration Shakeel Siddiqui, Secretary KDA Muhammad Arshad Khan, Director Parks Haji Shakeel Ahmed, Director Finance and Accounts Nasir Khan, Additional Director Estate and Enforcement Muhammad Arif and other officers were present on the occasion.
