A delegation led by Ismail Ibrahim (BARMM), Director General of the Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD), met with Director General Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Asif Jan Siddiqui at the Civic Center Conference Room, along with Director II Salim C. Dimona, Yasir Salik, Salahuddin, and Nasiha Saleem. On this occasion, KDA officers warmly welcomed the delegation of the Philippine Mission. The purpose of the visit was to discuss possible areas of cooperation between the two organizations. The Philippine delegation appreciated the model of the KDA and said that the purpose of establishing an institution on the same model in the Philippines is to effectively carry out welfare work based on the rules and regulations of the KDA and to establish a well-organized and strong organization. Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui briefed the delegation about the development projects being implemented and completed in the past by KDA in Karachi with the support of the Sindh Government and discussed and heard in detail about the experiences and initiatives of the organization. During the discussion with Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui, the delegation said that international cooperation plays a very important role in advancing the development agenda of BARMM and improving the conditions of the people. On this occasion, Ismail Ibrahim, Director General of the Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD) (BARMM) said that the organization will further strengthen and continue its cooperation with Karachi Development Authority to promote sustainable human settlement, social security and inclusive development in the region. At the end of the meeting, DG KDA presented the KDA Soniar to the delegation. On this occasion, Member Administration Shakeel Siddiqui, Member Finance Nisar Ahmed Memon, Secretary KDA Arshad Khan, Chief Engineer Abdul Samad Jamlani, Senior Director Land Jamil Ahmed, Director DPUD Rafiq Khuhro, Senior Officer Naveed Anwar Siddiqui, Director Land Atif Naqvi, Director Parks Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Director Finance Nasir Khan, Senior Director TEB Kashif Siddiqui, Director IT Abbas Ali and other officers were present.
