Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui met with the great and illustrious former captain of Pakistan cricket and legendary cricketer Javed Miandad at the Civic Center. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, the development of Karachi city and various issues were discussed in detail in a pleasant atmosphere. Member Finance KDA Naveed Anwar Siddiqui, Secretary KDA Muhammad Arshad Khan, Director State and Enforcement Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Senior Director TEB Jamil Ahmed and Patron Labor Union Muhammad Ashraf were also present on the occasion. During the meeting, Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui appreciated Javed Miandad’s valuable services to Pakistan cricket and said that the country’s famous players are national assets and a worthy example for the young generation. He paid tribute to Javed Miandad’s brilliant cricket career and his role in making Pakistan famous on the global stage. After the meeting, Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui briefed legendary cricketer Javed Miandad about the ongoing preparations for Independence Day at the Civic Center Building. He also invited him to attend a special event to be held at KDA on the occasion of Independence Day on August 14, which Javed Miandad warmly appreciated. On this occasion, both the personalities expressed their best wishes for the development, prosperity and stability of the country.
