	Public Exhibition and Open House Event of Greater Karachi Regional Plan 2047

	A public exhibition and open house event is being organized under the “Greater Karachi Regional Plan 2047” in collaboration with the Government of Sindh and the Karachi Development Authority, which aims to promote public consultation on Karachi’s future planning, urban development, basic amenities and sustainable vision. This plan is a significant step towards comprehensive planning for Karachi’s future in the context of Pakistan’s 100th anniversary, in which the views of citizens, urban experts, educational institutions, civil society, business community and people from different walks of life are being included. The open house event titled “Situation Analysis and Key Strategic Issues” will present the key urban challenges facing Karachi, population growth, transport, housing, environment, infrastructure and regional development to the public. On this occasion, a special press preview for media representatives will be organized on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 11 am to 12 noon, while the public exhibition will be held from May 16 to 19, 2026. It will continue daily from 10 am to 5 pm. Venue: Khaliq Dina Hall, Muhammad Ali Jinnah Road, Saddar, Karachi. The organizers have appealed to citizens, intellectuals, students, experts and media representatives to participate in this important project and play their effective role in shaping the future of Karachi.
