A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Karachi Development Authority Muhammad Arshad Khan on the instructions of Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui regarding the preparations for the Independence Day and Muarqa Haq celebrations. Presiding over the meeting, Secretary KDA instructed the officers participating in the meeting to organize the celebrations on August 13 and 14, 2025, and to make all arrangements for the national flag, building decoration, electric lights, and cleanliness in a proper manner. He further said that all officers should play their role in this Independence Day celebrations in a coordinated manner. On this occasion, Deputy Director Finance and Accounts Nadeem Shabbir, Deputy Secretary General Umar Farooq, Deputy Secretary Implementation Zafar Abbasi, Protocol Officer Saboor Ali, Executive Engineer Electric and Mechanical Shoaib Ahmed, Executive Engineer Building Azhar Abidi, Chief Security Officer Major (retd) Imran Muhammad Khan, Additional Director Parks Arif Ahmed, Assistant Secretary General Muhammad Ali Khan and other officers were present.
