In view of the implementation of the rain emergency by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui visited the Korangi drain during the ongoing spell of recent monsoon rains. During the visit, Chief Engineer KDA Abdul Samad Jamlani briefed Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui about the details of the water drainage process from the recently established Korangi 1000 Road rain drain, on which Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui expressed satisfaction over the intermittent flow of rainwater. During the visit to the Korangi drain, he further said that the organization will continue to provide relief to the residents of Shahr-e-Quaid with all its resources. It should be noted that the drainage process of rainwater from Darul Islam Society, Makhdoom Bilawal Society and nearby areas continues from the drain established at Korangi. On this occasion, the DG KDA was accompanied by Chief Engineer KDA and other officers.
