After receiving continuous complaints from the public regarding KDA Land and IT Department, Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui made an emergency visit to the Land Department located on the third floor of the KDA’s main office Civic Center. On this occasion, the DG issued instructions to Director Land Atif Hussain Naqvi and said that steps should be taken on an emergency basis to resolve public issues in the Land Department. He warned that departmental action would be taken against the concerned officer in case of further complaints. While visiting the IT Department, DG KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui issued instructions to Director IT Abbas Ali to complete the work of the public immediately and remove unnecessary obstacles immediately. Later, the Director General also inspected the record room. On this occasion, he issued orders that further improvements should be made in the work to make the records completely safe. To make all records safe, computerization should be accelerated and obstacles should be removed immediately. DG KDA, while issuing instructions to Secretary KDA Arshad Khan, said that during Ramadan, the office timing should be ensured from 10 am to 4 pm and after office hours, the KDA departments should be completely closed. DG KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui said that to financially stabilize the institution, new sources of income should be found, the problems faced by the students should be identified and solved on an emergency basis. The Karachi Development Authority is always striving to provide basic facilities to the citizens. Member Administration Shakeel Siddiqui, Secretary KDA Arshad Khan, Senior Director Land Jamil Ahmed, Director DPUD Mir Rafiq Jokhio, Chief Security Officer Major (Rtd) Imran Muhammad Khan and other officers were present on the occasion.
