Director General Karachi Development Authority Syed Shujaat Hussain reviewed the beautification works around Civic Center Building. On this occasion, DG KDA said that the obstacles in the beautification should be removed immediately and the beautification process should be completed before the scheduled time, while the dilapidated condition of the manholes on the highway and footpath around the said building. The cover should be replaced immediately and curb stones and paver blocks should be installed for the beautification of the footpath. He issued instructions to Director Parks Shakeel Khan and said that under the civic center flyover, trees should be planted on Takuna Chowrangi and on the sides, while more rare plants should be planted to beautify the greenery in the civic center. Later, DG KD. A made a detailed review of the cleaning and sanitation arrangements of the said building.
