Director General Karachi Development Authority Altaf Gohar Memon visited the ongoing development works in Mujahid Colony. Chief Engineer KDA Samad Jamalani, Executive Engineer Junaid Siddiqui and other officers were present on this occasion. During the visit, DG KDA Altaf Gohar Memon was briefed by the concerned authorities and told that under the ADP fund issued by the Sindh Government, road construction work is underway in Mujahid Colony at a cost of 400 million, from Hussain Lakhani Hospital. A road is being constructed from Mujahid Colony No. 2 to Nazimabad No. 7, which consists of two lanes 150 feet wide and more than one and a half kilometers long. He further said that along with the construction of RCC rain drains and 24, 24 feet service roads on both sides of the roads, street lights will be installed. The directive was issued that the development work should be completed before the scheduled time by increasing the manpower and machinery, priority should be given to quality standards during the construction of roads, the use of poor materials is not acceptable in any case. He further said that if the construction of the roads is completed, better travel facilities will be available to the local people. Under the supervision of expert engineers of Karachi Development Authority, the development work is going on across the city, soon the improvement in the infrastructure of the city will be noticeable.
